5 War Room Prayers for Your Children
We have to fight an important battle to protect our children. The enemy has created snares that entice children to live in a way that is dishonoring to God. We have to teach them love, kindness, right from wrong, not giving into peer pressure, walking the straight and narrow path, etc.
The scripture found in 1 Peter 5:8 tells us to be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. It is a reminder that we have to fight to protect our children from worldly things!
After watching the War Room movie, it really opened up the eyes to so many Christians on creating a stronger place to pray to God without interruptions and a place where to go and sit in silence with God.

What to Pray Over Your Child
Walk In Faith| Praying that your child has a love and passion for God’s word is so powerful. They can learn to walk in faith in all areas of their life.
Teach your children that God loves them unconditionally and will never leave nor forsake them (Matthew 19:13–15). We all have struggled in our lives. When we know God is on our side, it is easier to work through and overcome the challenges we face.
Pray your children are able to experience salvation early in their life! Pray your children can see and feel God around them. Pray your children will yearn for God’s word each day and lead a life of love and kindness!
Wisdom| Pray your child will grow in wisdom and understanding with each passing day (James 1:5). Pray your child will be able to understand the good and right way to live life.
Pray your child will always look to God for the path of wisdom and will not waiver. By having wisdom they will know to walk away from bad situations and turn to God when they need help and guidance.
Compassion| Pray your child will show compassion to anyone who is needing to receive it. Pray your child will have a heart that is tender and pure and they will be humbled to serve others in need. Pray your child wil put the needs of others before their own, especially if someone needs help (Ephesians 4:32).
Protection| We live in a world that continues to push the limits on what is acceptable. Pray for a covering of protection over your child. Pray God will continue to protect them from harm and wicked ways of others (Psalm 91:1-2).
Happiness| Pray your child understands in all their days that the joy of the Lord is their strength (Nehemiah 8:10)! Pray your child can live a happy and joyful life.
Pray that the Lord will bless your child and give them a free heart! Pray your child can feel confident to conquer anything that comes their way because the Lord is on their side.
