Shades of Fall and a Little Boy who will be Baptized
This past summer my middle child, Turtle, asked Jesus into his heart on the last day of VBS (Vacation Bible School). We waited to Baptize him because we had just began attending our church. As time has went on he has been asking about getting Baptized. This past week the Pastor came over to meet with him. This in itself is pretty awesome! I loved how much time our Pastor took to make sure Turtle understood everything. My boy also felt pretty special getting a visit from the Pastor all for himself:).
Today, Turtle went forward and told the whole church that he had asked Jesus into his heart and wanted to be Baptized. We can take our kids to church and we can have them memorize scriptures, but they have to choose to follow Jesus on their own. What a success story when our children decide to lay down their lives and follow Jesus! That to me is success in parenting. Children who long for Jesus and a relationship with Him, who love Him SO much, that is what it is all about. I am blessed now that 2 out of 3 will be Baptized. I pray they always walk close to the Lord and try hard to follow Christ and His will in their lives.
This is Thanksgiving week. While we should always be thankful to God for EVERYTHING, I am overflowing. Who could ask for more?
I pray you all have a blessed Thanksgiving and a wonderful week!

While I post the above pictures because many ask to see my outfits in shades of Fall and I love helping others with modesty, please focus on my middle son. This post is really about him. I am blessed more than I could ever put into words. I am nothing but filthy rags, but God sent His only Son into this world to save me and to set me free. If you haven’t experienced the love of God through Salvation….If you haven’t been set free…. I urge you to seek the grace only He can provide. Lay down your life, pick up the cross and follow Jesus. Put Jesus in your heart and feel the comfort only He can give. That is what this blog is about – Jesus.
PS: The first 2 photos were taken by my wonderful friend Reina 🙂
