If you follow me on Twitter, Instagram or Facebook, it’s pretty safe to say you’ve seen the pictures and posts during my time with the wonderful people at the 2015 Heart to Home Women’s Conference, including the ladies from Duck Dynasty. I was blessed with this wonderful opportunity through a contest sponsored by Family Christian. Stay tuned for a post coming this week detailing the conference. For this post, I thought I would bring back Modest Monday since I have been moving and not posting as much with my Duck trip and all that 🙂
The first day of the conference was a tremendously busy day. The day began early and I wanted to wear something that looked nice and, of course, modest. I also wanted to wear something that was comfortable to wear all day long during meet and greets, walking, shopping, and exploring Monroe, Louisiana.
So what did I wear? Here it is!
(Korie’s Dad-Johnny Howard who is fondly referred to as 2Papa)
(In Front of the Famous Sign)
( The Duck Dynasty Camper for those who watched that episode. :))
(Rebecca Robertson who owns Duck & Dressing a clothing store with Korie. I shared this as it shows my top more.)
(Lisa Robertson who came and had lunch with us at Willie’s Duck Diner, along with Miss Kay! Stay tuned for that picture in my next post on my trip)
(Showing off my hat with Jessica Robertson. She is even more beautiful in person and has a heart of gold!)
(Here is my skirt laying out. This gives a better visual)
(How my clothes came from Stitch Fix)
I am LOVING Stitch Fix for clothing!!!!
What I was wearing?
Hair: Lilla Rose Flexi Clip and also a Hat from Fred Myer
Under Shirt: It is a full half tee from halftee.com
Burgandy Top: From Stitch Fix….I LOVE LOVE LOVE it!!!
Skirt: Also from Stitch Fix. I love it too! It wasn’t to clingy, perfect length for my trip, very comfortable.
Skin Care: Nerium!!! It is AMAZING!!!
Shoes: Bought at Macy’s. I have worn them several times this season. I love them and they are really comfy for walking!
Coat: This is a wool coat that I got here at the Limited in Tennessee. The coat was originally $200 but I got it for $50! SCORE!!!
Black Sweater: I have this on in some of the pictures. It got to hot for my coat. I actually bought it while shopping that day at K-Sera Boutique in Louisiana. I LOVE that store and they feature Missy Robertsons clothing line! YAY!!!
Tights: Random black tights from my stash
Stay tuned for my post about the actual convention and I will have a TON more pictures!!!
