Who doesn’t love Lego? Sure, we’re adults now and constructing epic buildings are a thing of the past, but not for our children. We can’t help but pull up a chair and help build the massive castle or the space ship with over 3,000 pieces. Lego’s are educational and fun! In case you missed it, I also wrote a Fun Facts About Lego post where I shared some fun facts and a printable study guide on one of America’s best-loved resources! You can read that post by clicking below-

Lego bricks can keep your kids occupied for hours and hours. They come in all sorts of shapes and sizes and the possibilities are endless. If you can think it, you can probably build it. You can always go on Pinterest and find new ideas for what to create with Lego.

Have you thought of ways to use Lego as a teaching tool? My kids have been blessed to be able to take part in a few amazing homeschool co-ops that tied in learning with Lego! These simple bricks provide an avenue that allows your kids to partake in hands-on learning. Hands-on learning is very important in fostering the love of learning in our children. Do you have a kinesthetic (hands-on) learner? Lego are right up your alley! Each child (and parent for that matter) has a specific learning style and often a combination of learning styles. Regardless of your or your child’s learning style, Lego bricks are sure to strengthen each style. If you have not considered using Lego for eduction, I’m about to change the way you look at them forever! We are even finding ways to tie one of our best-loved education resources- Lego  in with our Classical Conversations Cycle 3 studies!  Check out this resource ==> HERE.
